Sand Based Playgrounds, Volleyball Areas, Horse Paddocks

Playgrounds, volleyball courts, cabana chairs, and beach walkways can often be the most heavily littered areas on the beach.  Beach Raker has invested in unique beach cleaning equipment that removes small rocks, cigarette butts, sand spurs, bottle caps, and small foreign objects from the beach.  Your residents and customers no longer need to walkover these undesired small objects during their visit to the beach.

Our beach cleaning equipment actually sifts the sand to remove undesired trash and small debris that otherwise has to be picked up by hand! We use a combination of the Baber Sandman, and Cherrington Sand Sifter to remove these unpleasant small objects from the beach sand.

The Barber Sandman is a walk-behind sand sifter used to sift sand around hard to reach areas on the beach. The Barber Sandman can maneuver and sift around lifeguard towers, children’s play areas, cabana chairs, palm trees, and beach walkways.

The Cherrington Sand Sifter (shown below) is great for larger areas, such as volleyball courts, and public beach areas.  The sifter is towed behind one of our tractors across the littered area.  The sand is sifted and allowed to fall back onto the beach while the small undesired objects, such as rocks, pine needles, cigarette butts, bottle caps, etc., are deposited into the waste bucket at the back of the sifter.  You won’t believe how attractive and clean your beach will become once this process is complete!

All of our beach cleaning equipment and the beach cleaning processes outlined above comply with Federal and State environmental and safety laws.  At the end of the sifting process the waste is sorted to remove recyclables for recycling and the waste is emptied into our waste disposal dumpster off the beach.
